Yet another day for the IPL Fantasy League lovers! We are into the final third of the tournament, and the only question remains is how much more is this tournament going to astonish us. IPL quite simply never ceases to amaze! Today, we have got a game between Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals. These two sides that faced each other on Day 2 of the IPL, and accounted for the first super over of this year’s IPL.

The match is going to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Expect the pitch to be a bit sluggish and probably two-paced. On one hand, we have Delhi Capitals – table-toppers and runaway leaders at the moment, while on the other, we have Kings XI Punjab – a team that epitomizes the proverb “so near, yet so far.” Can Kings XI Punjab make it three wins out of three, or will Delhi Capitals become the first team to book a place in the playoffs?

The Scout says:

KL Rahul, Nicholas Pooran, Chris Gayle, and Mayank Agarwal are the obvious choices for the dream team as they can all play blistering knocks while having formed the core of the team. Rahul is the deserved Orange Cap holder, while Mayank Agarwal is not far behind. The Caribbean duo of Pooran and Gayle can be the most dangerous players on their day. Shikhar Dhawan has finally started to convert his starts into big scores, getting his first-ever IPL century by scoring an unbeaten 101 against Chennai Super Kings.

We have chosen two all-rounders – Axar Patel and Marcus Stoinis. Stoinis has been one of the in-form players for Delhi, while the ex-Kings XI player Axar Patel has been highly economical with the ball. He showed his batting prowess against CSK too. As for the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, and Tushar Deshpande have been chosen owing to their ability to strike with a wicket at any point. Only one Punjab bowler, Arshdeep Singh, makes the cut. We wanted to go with Mohammad Shami but he is too expensive and choosing him over other players creates an imbalance.
