IPL Fantasy League: Tips for Match 41: Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians

We are back with yet another IPL Fantasy League XI article! Today, two teams that share seven IPL titles between them meet in a rather inconsequential encounter at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. While Mumbai Indians are lying in the third spot in the table with 12 points from 9 games, Chennai Super Kings lie at the bottom. The rest of the tournament is a mere formality for CSK.

Mumbai Indians lost their previous game – against Kings XI Punjab – in a match that saw the first double super-over in IPL history. Having said that, they would be keen to win today, a result that would take them to the top of the table. In the last week or two, chasing has become a lot easier. Such has been the reversal in the trend that the last 10-11 games have seen the chasing team win the match. The captain that wins the toss would be looking to bowl first.

The Scout says:

We have chosen a Mumbai Indians’ heavy lineup for our dream team because of their excellent form. Quinton de Kock edges out MS Dhoni due to his incredible run of form. The Chennai duo of Faf du Plessis and Ambati Rayudu can be expected to be among the runs. Suryakumar Yadav has been the most important middle-order batsman for Mumbai Indians

Kieron Pollard and Sam Curran are batsmen with explosive strike-rates and possess the ability to change the game in a jiffy. Krunal Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja have contributed both the bat and the ball for the respective teams. As for the bowling, we have the Mumbai Indians’ trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar, and Trent Boult. All three of them have hit double figures for wickets, and Bumrah is already in the top three wicket-takers this season.
