IPL Fantasy League: Tips for Qualifier 2: Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

This is the penultimate time we will be bringing IPL Fantasy League XI for you this year (sobs).

Tonight, Delhi Capitals will be taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad. Delhi Capitals have struggled to get back to the form they showed in the first half of the tournament. Their humiliating loss to Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 1 compounded their issues.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to stop Virat’s brigade and eliminate them from the tournament. The bowling department of both teams consists of lethal bowlers. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad have an obvious edge over Delhi Capitals. Sunrisers have found a balanced lineup (Jason Holder smiles!), accumulating four wins on the trot.

Delhi Capitals (or Delhi Daredevils, as they were formerly called) have never reached an IPL final.

The Scout Says:

Wriddhiman Saha comes as a saviour for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the absence of Jonny Bairstow. He wasn’t fit for the last game but he can be fit for today’s game. Prithvi Shaw is out of form so we have chosen David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan. Kane Williamson played a crucial knock in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, scoring an unbeaten half-century.

Kagiso Rabada lost his Purple Cap to Jasprit Bumrah and he will be looking to win this cap back. T Natarajan proved his mettle in the bowling department, becoming the new yorker king. Ravichandran Ashwin and Rashid Khan are both excellent spinners and you should take them into your team. Abu Dhabi’s pitch is very unpredictable and we have seen some unpredictable bounce from the bowlers.

According to us, a score of 180+ can be considered a defendable score.
